Most of the boys have now adjusted to the time difference. We took the boys out for a proper breakfast this morning, some having steak and eggs!!!! Then we caught the bus to Richmond Rugby Club. They gave us an excellent welcome and even met a few people fromm Wales.
Richmond 0 Tonyrefail 68
Richmond started strongly and showed our boys how physical Canadian Rugby is. After a shaky 10 minutes, Tonyrefail imposed their class and experience on the Richmond team. Tonyrefail played some good Rugby scoring 7 tries in the first half (Connor Lawrence 2, Leon Crump, Welsey Gibbons, Connor Morgan, Arron Donoghue, Jordan Jones). The second half saw Richmond come back at Tonyrefail and they competed right to the final whistle, Tonyrefail scored a further three tries through Connor Lawrence, Leon Rees and Rhys Taylor. A good start to the tour.
After the game we had food made a few presentations. Leon 'Tank' Rees was awarded Man of the Match and special mention goes to Masson Roderick who pushed Leon very close for this award.
Later that evening we took the boys bowling.

Well done boys, Huw definitely made the game some harder than the scoreline says!! Definitely showed your classs over their bulk though. Boys - do us a favour - make sure Kai doesnt spend all his money by Monday, hope youve acclimatised now Kai - have a great week - phone if you can - don worry if you cant.
